Network Tools
The Xilogix looking glass allows you to perform a number of network tests that originate at www.xilogix.net at IP address
The available tools include TraceRoute, TCP-based TraceRoute, Ping, Whois, Name Server Lookup of a host, and query of A, MX, NS and ANY domain name server (DNS) records.
Performing a TraceRoute, TCP Traceroute, Ping, or Name Server Lookup require that you provide a destination host IP or fully qualified domain name (FQDN). The form will automatically be completed with your current host name or IP address by default.
To perform a whois or DNS A, MX, NS or ANY record query you must specify the appropriate domain information for the record type that you seek. The whois function on this looking glass now supports IP address queries.
